Viomi SE – robot vacuum with mop function and advanced navigation system

The guys from Gearbest.com launched recently, for the first time (a world premiere I might say) the new robot made by Viomi. It’s called Viomi SE, and it aspires to be a better and more accessible version of V2 Pro, at the moment being the cheapest model in their portfolio.

Generally, it maintains the technical specifications that we find in V2 Pro. Still, we get a new colour (white with some golden elements in the upper part), a bit more suction power, an improved navigation system and smaller containers for water and dust.

Still, Viomi does not scarify when it comes to quality, and they only use top components from manufacturers like Samsung (the battery) and Nidec (the engine). The design remains the same, but to distinguish itself from the previous models, this one is available in white- I think it’s the first white robot vacuum from Viomi.

The suction power is 2200 Pa, which is 100 Pa more than V2 Pro – probably it won’t be noticeable when it’s used.

The navigation system is now improved with artificial intelligence, and it manages to improve the route of the vacuum, making it 23% more efficient. The sensors are the same that we find at the moment in any other vacuum in this price range. It can go over any obstacle that is a maximum of 2 cm high.

Same as the previous generation, this one allows the user to control through the app the amount of water that is used, according to the need or the room where it’s cleaning. It has three options for the quantity of water: low, medium and maximum.

The water container has a capacity of 300 ml and the one for dust a capacity of 200 ml. From the app, you can save up to 5 different maps, which can be very useful when it comes to homes with more than one level. Also, the robot knows how to recognize different rooms. Therefore the suction program can be personalized according to every room.

The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh, and it is enough for a surface of 200 square meters.

Anyway, I believe that when it comes to robot vacuums, the capacity of the battery is not as important as it is when it comes to a mobile, for example. When the battery runs low, the robot knows how to go back to the charging station, to charge and then to go back to where it was.

Viomi SE can be an option to consider if you want to purchase a robot vacuum with mop function, that is accessible and can be programmed, that can save several maps, and that has an advanced navigation system.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, Viomi SE is available on Gearbest.com with a price of 299$ using the coupon code . The coupon is active for the warehouse in Germany, with courier delivery in 3-5 working days without added fees if you’re living in Europe.
